What should I expect when I arrive at FaithPoint?

Well... We meet in Urbana Middle School, so you should expect to see a Middle School. You will be greeted at the door by folks who will be happy you came. We'll have refreshments for you to enjoy. We'll show you to our Children's Ministry and Nursery areas if you need them. Our goal is for you to be comfortable when you visit FaithPoint.

What should I wear?

Clothes. Preferably those you are comfortable wearing and comfortable wearing around others.

What happens Sunday mornings?

At FaithPoint, we worship at 10:00 a.m. Our worship is very casual, featuring contemporary music, a time of praying about what's happening in and around our community, and a message aimed at issues relevant to our everyday lives. At the same time, our children meet in our Children's Ministry.

Will I be pressured into anything?

No. We trust God to do the work of drawing you into a deeper faith relationship. We are there to assist one another as we grow deeper together, not to pressure anyone into anything.

Will I understand what's being said?

We hope so. We try to address the issues of real life using real words.

Will my kids be safe?

Absolutely. We have a professionally staffed nursery to look after small children. Our Children's Ministry is a fun, healthy, and safe environment for your child to learn timeless lessons that will last them a lifetime.

Will I have to pay anything?

Absolutely not. What God has to offer comes free of charge. Naturally, FaithPoint, like all faith communities, relies on the faithful support of those who participate in its ministries in order to exist. We encourage everyone to support FaithPoint through their prayers, sharing their talents and their time, and their financial support.

How much should I give?

First time visitors are our guests and are encouraged not to feel obliged to give. If you find FaithPoint to be the place you would like to pursue your faith journey then we encourage you to honor God's call to tithe.

How can I support FaithPoint?

Pray: We believe God hears prayer. Pray that FaithPoint might be faithful in helping people reconnect with God!

Serve: We are always looking for people to serve both within FaithPoint, and in the community as a part of FaithPoint. In fact, serving is a vital part of growing in your faith and a desire to serve is evidence of a growing faith. If you're interested in serving let us know. We'll help you find a way to serve! Give: We are able to serve the community through your faithful giving.
