FaithPoint also supports the mission of Margé and Peter Hays in the Netherlands.  Margé was asked to start a bible study in her home.  The bible study has grown into whats now known as the Community Bible Study International. an international organiztion.  CBSI reaches out to over 1,000 people in the Netherlands and is heading to Serbia, God willing.

Peter is training upcoming church leaders at Pynsdale Theological Seminary.  These leaders are serving their church plant which started many years ago in Alkmaar, outside Amsterdam.

FaithPoint Supports Young Mothers in Need

One of the ministries we support is Hope Alive.  Hope Alive is an organization outside of Sabillisville, MD that provides residential help for young mothers in need.  It's an honor to be able to partner with and support those making a big difference in the lives of those in need right here in our own community.

One of the privileges of being a United Methodist is being "Connected."  We don't belong to a local church, but to a congregation that is part of a church that stretches around the world.  As such, we along with all United Methodists follow the Biblical principle of supporting the greater church financially.  This financial support is called the "apportionment" in Methodist parlance...
